From the hotel, right after Monceau, the Champs-Elysées

Return to "Walks in Paris near the hotel"
Staring at the patterns drawn by the avenues in Paris 50 feet above the ground
To get to the Place de l’Etoile, you will have to walk alongside rue Faubourg Saint Honoré and its prestigious luxury shops. You will get the chance to drop off your shopping bags in your room nearby, before going for a sightseeing tour of the avenues intentionally designed to draw a star from a bird’s eye view above the Arc de Triomphe (hence the name “la place de l’étoile” which means “the place of the star”): It is worth walking up its stairs to enjoy the breathtaking view of Paris it offers.
- The Champs-Elysées, Paris’ most famous avenue, is only 10 minutes away with the subway, and at a 20-minute walking distance from the hotel. The avenue is overflowing with shops and theaters.
- Within a 15-minute walk from the hotel, you can go to all the Champs-Elysées’ theaters, where not far away the Arc de Triomphe watches on the ashes of the Unknown Soldier ( http://arc-de-triomphe.monuments-nationnaux.fr ).
- Even closer to the hotel is the Place des Ternes, with its flowers market ( http://www.kiosquetheatre.com ).
